Sy Solis (they/she) is a Coordinator at Planned Parenthood Federation of America where they work in the Principal & Major Gifts team helping them manage events both virtually and in-person to engage donors as well as inform them on the president’s, Alexis McGill Johnson, next steps as the country faces restriction on reproductive rights. Sy was a former Cycling Smarts participant and ICM employee who started as a Digital Media Specialist and made their way into a Development & Communications Coordinator role. Their favorite part of working at ICM was engaging with the students and coaching them on the weekends.Sy has benefited from ICM through their Cyclist Smarts and College Bike Tour programs as a high school student in 2014-2015 and has helped grow the confidence they have today. Sy was also an alumni speaker for the 2019 Spirit Awards and spear-headed the return of the Spirit Awards in 2022.
