Mava Banton-Chambers, MSW is a dedicated social work professional with over two decades of experience supporting children, youth, and families through trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions. She has extensive expertise in serving vulnerable populations across therapeutic, clinical, and supervisory roles.
In her previous role as a TFFC Socio-Therapist Supervisor, Mava provided leadership and clinical guidance to socio-therapists, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for clients. Her work reflects a strong commitment to fostering resilience and stability in the lives of those she serves.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Mava is actively engaged in her community. She volunteers at a local food bank, spends meaningful time with seniors, and enjoys cycling on trails throughout the city as she prepares annually for the 5 Boro Bike Tour.
